# Core Principles

MinaPool is built on three pillars of Islamic finance:

#### 1. Mudarabah (Profit-Sharing Partnership)

You provide capital (Rabb al-Mal), we manage it (Mudarib). Profits are split 90/10, losses are borne by capital providers (unless due to negligence).

#### 2. Asset-Backed Investments Only

Every dollar is allocated to real, tangible assets:

* Tokenized sukuk (Islamic bonds)
* Property tokens generating rental income
* Commodity tokens (gold, silver)
* Validator rewards from proof-of-stake networks

#### 3. Prohibited Activities Screening

We **never** invest in:

* Alcohol, tobacco, weapons, gambling, pork
* Interest-based lending
* Speculative derivatives
* Unethical or exploitative industries
